Comarch ICT Data Centre Managed Services

Our Data Centre Managed Services include:

  • Software as a Service (SaaS) – A comprehensive, flexible solution with a low total cost of maintenance of IT systems (TCO). It includes the supply of Comarch’s application along with the necessary server infrastructure hosted at a Comarch Data Centre and technical support together with administration of applications and IT infrastructure. Comarch guarantees the availability of client critical systems at the level of 99.95% per annum.
  • Platform as a Service (PaaS) – As part of the solution, Clients are provided with a system & hardware platform with a complete range of services that support the managed services, and client business applications hosted at Comarch. It includes:

               - equipment (servers and arrays) in the Comarch Data Centre,
               - all necessary foreign licenses,
               - administration of operating systems and databases,
               - management of the layer and network security systems,
               - redundant telecommunications links,
               - monitoring of the entire solution 24/7

  • Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) - The equipment is co-located in a secure environment of a Comarch Data Centre, designed and protected in accordance with the highest industry standards, has shared network infrastructure and a centralised backup system and redundant access links to the internet. The layer of software maintenance is the customer‘s responsibility. Comarch offers support services (remote hands) as well as services related to monitoring equipment and optional backup.
  • Backup services - Protecting data from the risk associated with unplanned events is critical for your business. Depending on the size of your company, we will design a suitable backup system, implement it and manage it day-to-day.
  • Disaster Recovery Centre (DRC) - Fully functional IT infrastructure, which is responsible for the processing of critical systems and business processes. As a result, in the event of unplanned interruptions in the functioning of the primary location, service and all operational activities are switched to the backup centre and therefore the unavailability of services is limited to the absolute minimum. Comarch's offer within the scope of DRC services allows the client to safeguard against any negative effects of any type of infrastructure failure.
  • Managed Servers - Comarch offers Managed Servers solutions with a full spectrum of services, from standardised, horizontally scalable systems to more tailored, managed server architectures. Get the flexibility to meet the unique requirements of your applications and enterprise hosting environment.

How many data centres does Comarch use? Where can Comarch deliver Data Centre Services from?

Are you vendor neutral?

Comarch conducts an intensive policy, where the aim is to be vendor neutral and build relationships with the world's leading technology partners. 

Is there a minimum time contract/commitment?

The shortest-term agreement can be a year. The contract duration depends on your business requirements and can be negotiated as needed. Comarch is very flexible, but we would recommend a minimum contract time of 3 years to maximise your return on investment.

Does Comarch own the IT infrastructure or just resell another providers service?

Yes, Comarch is the owner of the IT Infrastructure. 

How often are Comarch Data Centres backed up?

Once a day with the option for a higher frequency if required.

Does Comarch offer a “remote hands” service?

Yes, we can provide a “remote hands” service on a 24/7 basis. Depending on the location and agreement with clients, a team of engineers are on-site at the facility or available to be on-site as needed. The scope of provided services depends on the agreement between the client and Comarch.

How secure are the Comarch data centres?

In Comarch Data Centres, we have the following levels of security: • Fenced and guarded Comarch Data Centre campus • On-site 24/7 security monitoring • Full electronic access control system, based on proximity cards with photo • Locks on colocation suites and cabinets. Which tier levels have data centres? Are the Comarch data centres regularly audited?

All Comarch data centre facilities meet at least Tier III standards or higher, which means that there are several levels of redundant capacity components built into the IT infrastructure to ensure the highest level of security. Additionally, we are regularly audited to maintain the highest of standards. On request, clients may perform an independent audit, or have it performed by an external institution.

Which certifications does Comarch Data Centre comply with?

Fulfilment of certain standards helps us to provide customers with the best service, and ensures appropriate conditions of doing business for our customers. Some of the more common standards that Comarch Data Centre complies with are as follow: • ISAE 3402 type I and IIUS • ISO / IEC 27001:2007 "Information Security Management Systems" • PCI DSS certification

Who can access the data centres? Who are the authorised personnel?
